Begonia Maculata commonly referred to as the Polka dot Begonia, is undoubtedly one of the most strikingly gorgeous species of indoor plants. This exotic plant derives its name from its unique silver spotted leaves and red undersides.
Watering
Keep the soil moist, but not wet, from spring to autumn. Allow the topsoil to dry out between
watering in winter. Do not mist the leaves.
Feeding
Feed every two weeks from late spring to early autumn with high nitrogen fertilizer.
Planting and Care
Make sure you choose a pot to accommodate the plants root ball easily. Plant in a 50/50 mix of soil based and multipurpose soil. Repot when pot bound in spring.
