This is a star-studded plant with its dazzling, wavy-edged foliage, with its lime and dark green snake like markings on the top and burgundy shading on the bottom. Native to Brazil, they love the warmth, humid conditions, so a bathroom or kitchen would make a great home for this plant.
Watering
Use rainwater or distilled to keep the soil moist from spring to autumn. Allow this top of the soil to dry out between watering in winter. Mist daily with tepid water. Using a tray of pebbles or install a humidifier to keep the humidity up.
Feeding
Apply a half strength liquid fertilizer every 2 weeks from spring to autumn.
Planting and Care
Plant in a 2:1 soil and perlite mix. Set in filtered light or somewhere shaded, out of direct sun and draughts. Keep warm all year round. Repot ever 2-3 years when pot bound.
