Info
Hoya have waxy leaves that bloom and release a sweet fragrant sent in the summer. They are great for covering walls or hanging from a shelf. They are native to Eastern Asia and Australia.
Watering
From spring to autumn, keep the soil moist, water when the top is dry in winter. Mist regularly but not when the flowers are buds or in bloom.
Feeding
Apply a half strength fertilizer every 2 weeks from spring to autumn.
Planting and Care
Plant in a pot that easily fits the root ball in, in a good mixed soil (equal parts orchid compost, multipurpose soil and perlite). Prune in autumn but do not remove the flower stalks a more blooms come from the stumps. Repot in spring when root bound.
